"They molested us, groped us": Students of Gargi College to protest against their mass molestation

Students of Gargi College, Delhi have complained that a large group of men entered their campus and molested them.

The students said that a group of drunken men entered the campus during their 3-day annual-fest. The students have reported that the men eve-teased them, groped them and followed them to the toilets.

They also reported that they hugged and molested them and also few men masturbated at them. These group of drunken men was reportedly affiliated to Delhi University.

The students have condemned the incident and said that they would protest at the college on Monday.

But the police said that they did not receive a written complaint from the students. Police are also investigating the surveillance cameras on the college campus.

Hashtag '#speakupgargi' was trending on twitter. People blamed the college and the administration for failing to protect the students and even demanded the resignation of the principal.

The report also quoted, principal Promila Kumar saying that no complaint has been filed. She said that the campus was only meant for female students and if they were outside that, it was their personal choice.
