Dubai's ruler wanted his 11-year-old daughter to get married to a prince, Wife's shocking complaint
Princess Haya bint al-Usain said in a court hearing at London that Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum threatened her and her daughter.
During the hearing, Princess Haya said that her life was threatened by her husband Sheikh Mohammed. She also said that her husband tried to get their second daughter who is 11 years old married to a Prince. After hearing all the arguments the London high court issued orders against Sheikh Mohammed and ordered that the Princess and her children will be protected.
Princess Haya says that Sheikh Mohammad has divorced her in February 2019 through Sharia Law. She said their relationship worsened after she tried to help both her daughters from early marriage.
Sheikh Mohammed is highly acclaimed for making Dubai a tourist destination and business hub. The Dubai Family Court sees the case in the London Family Court as a private case. At the same time, this case could impact Dubai's transparency and business.
The Saudi Arabian government has not provided any explanation for the allegations stated against the prince Mohammed bin Salman.
