Want to save yourself from Corona? Remove your beard

News has spread on social media that men should avoid facial hairs to escape from the deadly coronavirus infection.

The news comes in the form of a picture released by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (COPD), which states the different type of beard styles which could perfectly fit face masks.

But this picture and the coronavirus have no connection. The picture was posted in a blog in 2017 regarding how to wear masks in the workplace. "On the web, it said that if the beard, mustache or any facial hair disturb the seal of the mask then it will reduce the function of the mask."

It is worth noting that many of the masks currently worn to protect against coronavirus infection do not have tight seals.

So this advice can be taken into notice since tight seals of the mask may prevent the virus from entering the nose or mouth. South Korea which is the most affected country next to China, has a high prevalence of coronavirus virus affecting 3000 people.

The infectious coronavirus, which has spread from Wuhan, China, is spreading a threat to other countries as well. The death toll because of the deathly coronavirus has risen to 16 in South Korea, particularly in the city of Daegu.

Yesterday, 594 people were hospitalized in serious condition. As a result, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in South Korea has increased to 2,931.
