Emergency Number 100 went unanswered for 72 hours during Delhi violence

A report by a civil rights group noted that all the phone calls to emergency number 100 were unanswered for 48-72 hours during the Delhi violence. The report which is titled 'Let Us Heal Our Dilli' is based on the eye witness and reports from Delhi residents of the affected areas. Most of the people said that they did not receive any help from the Police. 

The team took incites from various people in Bhajanpura, Chand Bagh, Gokulpuri, Chaman Park, Shiv Vihar, Main Mustafabad, including Bhagirathi Vihar and Brijpuri areas. The report also says that people are upset with the Delhi Government for not supporting the victims and for not deploying the military forces on time. 

People of both the religion were very angry with the Delhi Police for not being there when they were needed the most. The victims could not understand the reason why the police were not deployed for help. The report repeatedly had voices of different people saying that their phone calls to 100 were unanswered. People were also seen angry with the AAP government and Arvind Kejriwal for not standing with them on the ground to help them from the goons who attacked them. 

People also vented out their anger on the Modi Government because they were busy with Trump's visit and failed to take care of the capital. They said that the government could have deployed military forces quite early so that the damage could have been reduced and could have saved more innocent lives. The report also includes the most urgent needs of the survivors so that they can pressurize the government, the administration and the citizens of the country for their help.

Totally 43 people have died and 100's have been injured in the Delhi violence. The Delhi police have registered 148 FIR's and 630 people have been arrested or detained in connection with the Delhi violence which happened for 4 days.
