Indian Railways to operate a new Ramayana themed train

Indian Railways said that it will operate a new Ramayana themed train which will take passengers to places correlated with Lord Rama and Ramayana.

On Friday, Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav said, "The train will take people to all places related to Ramayana. The theme of this train will be based on Ramayana. Pictures, thoughts, and poems related to Ramayana will be displayed on coaches outside and pictures related to the epic and music will also be played inside."

This train will start its operation in the last week of March and the train will give a feel of a temple to the pilgrims. The compartments and wheels will have pictures and themes related to Ramayana. The interior of the train will have speakers playing bhajans of Lord Rama.

Shri Ramayana Express is another train named after Lord Ram which started its service last year.
