A school headmaster has been arrested for giving students an idea of how to defraud the public exam in Uttar Pradesh.
In Uttar Pradesh, the Secondary Education Board exams have started on Tuesday.
Praveen, the headmaster of a private school, advised the students to prepare for the public exam in the Mau district which is 300 km from Lucknow. At the time, a school student secretly recorded the video on his cell phone.
In the video, Praveen is seen speaking to his students and a few parents. He talks about how the state government has rigged public exams despite the measures imposed by it. He advised students to keep Rs. 100 inside mark sheets and defraud the exam.
The video has been sent to the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Complaint Center. The headmaster was arrested soon after the complaint.
In that video, Praveen said, "I challenge any of my school children to fail their exams. They don't have to be afraid of anything. You can write anything of your choice. All the teachers in the government school exam centers are my friends. You don't need to be afraid of anything, even if you get caught."
Praveen also asked the students not to leave any question unanswered and asked them to keep Rs.100 inside the mark sheet. He said that the teachers will give you a score after they see the 100 rupee note. He said, "Even if you give a wrong answer to a 4 mark question, they will give you 3 marks." He concluded his speech with Jai Hind and Jai Bharat.
Most of the parents in the crowd were okay with such an act.
