A 2 days old baby has been stabbed to death in Indore is suspected to be a case of female infanticide. The doctors said that the baby girl who died in the government hospital was brutally attacked in her chest, neck, and abdomen.
The baby who struggled till the end, died in the hospital since the injuries were beyond the ability of her body. The mother who gave birth to the child on February 12 says that she has no idea about who assaulted her. The police said that the suspect has not been identified yet.
The mother and the girl were discharged from the hospital and came back the same day late in the evening with the baby drenched in blood. The mother said that when she removed the baby's clothes she found several wounds and bleeding injuries.
The doctors said that they tried their best to save the child. They said that the child was attacked with a sharp object and was injured at 6 places on her chest, neck, and abdomen. The doctors have removed a damaged intestine from her body. The rate of injuries was way too much for the baby's body to handle.
The child's body was handed over to her parents. The suspect, in this case, has not been identified yet. The infant's uncle and dad said that they were not present in the house when the incident happened. The mother promises that she would never hurt the baby. The police are waiting for the autopsy report to continue the further investigation.
